The department was established in 2008 with introduction of B.Sc. physics degree course. The department today is on active focal point of teaching learning process. The faculty in department cover a basic knowledge of classical mechanics, quantum mechanics and motion concept etc.

The department has conducting tests and examinations .This  faculty includes good quality of education as well as necessary and important equipment for understanding the basic concept. This department  provides a good carrier option in physics field and showcased a very good results in recent examination.
