Department of Chemistry, Government College Balrampur is newly functioning department, it comprises 2 permanent post for faculty members. It offers admission to B.Sc(General Programme) courses. Since 2017 students are also admitted in the department for pursuing M.Sc. Chemistry Programme with intake of 20 students.The faculty members are highly qualified (Ph.D. from reputed Universities) with specialisation in Physical, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. All of them not only show concern for the academic development of the students but also give proper guidance for their career and extra-Curricular development.
Govt. College Balrampur provides one of the most modern and essential facilities for the students. Most importantly we have well equipped laboratories consisting of all the required equipment e.g.Oven, Hot Plate,Potentiometer, Conductometer, pH Meters, Colorimeter etc for fulfilling there quirement of the B.Sc. and M.Sc. programme.
